AAUW advances gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. AAUW, founded in 1881, is open to all graduates who hold an associate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Our Marquette branch hosts monthly meetings to highlight and discuss the issues that affect women in our community. We also raise funds through donations and our Annual Used Book Sale to provide scholarships to women attending NMU.
